Is it really August? Really and truly? After a week spent in Cornwall under grey skies and in freezing gales I'm not at all sure that it isn't actually March.
Ah well, the scenery certainly makes up for it

And the pretty fishing villages

It's just such a shame that it wasn't good weather for ice cream and lazing around.

We had a lvoely time, thanks. And we did swim - in the indoor pool!
At least your photo's look dramatic. Hope you enjoyed yourselves despite the awful summer. Hubby tells me it's been the darkest, coolest August for sixty years - he likes statistics - bless 'im!
